Bakersfield exploded for 89 points in an 89-78 win over Dora in the Class 2 District 10 quarterfinals.
The No. 2 seeded Lions scored at least 20 points in every quarter and outscored Dora in each of the first three frames to build up a 14-point lead after three quarters.
Ethan Cotter led Bakersfield and all scorers with 32 points. Mason Bean was just behind him at 25 points. Morris Collins also had a big game for Bakersfield with 18 points.

Dora was paced by Spencer Howard with 27 points. Both Wilson Masters and Brayden York scored 10 points each for the Falcons.
No. 2 seed Bakersfield (19-6) advances to face No. 3 seed and defending state champion Norwood on Wednesday at 7:30 pm at Norwood in the district semifinals.
Dora finishes the season with a 3-18 overall record.
