No. 4 seed Billings built a first-half lead on No. 5 New Covenant and then held on for a 61-59 win.
The Wildcats led 23-14 after one quarter and 37-23 at the half. New Covenant started to chip away in the third quarter with a 19-11 advantage in the frame to cut the lead to 48-42. The Warriors picked up more ground in the fourth quarter with a 17-13 advantage in the quarter, but Billings held on.
Cale Plowman and Brayden Garbee led the Billings attack with 24 and 21 points, respectively. Hudson Grell led New Covenant with 20 points.
