The quarterfinal round of the Class 1 District 7 tournament held to form with all three of the highers seeds in Golden City, Lockwood and Sheldon all advancing.
Golden City beat Northeast Vernon County 69-44. The Eagles were paced by Josh Reeves with 33 points, which was the highest total among the three games. No. 2 seed Golden City will face No. 3 seed Lockwood in the district semifinals on Wednesday at 7:30 pm.
Lockwood had nine different players score in a 73-23 win over Bronaugh. Dalton Mammen led the Tigers with 20 points.
Sheldon will face top seeded Thomas Jefferson in the district semfinals after beating McAuley Catholic 54-40.
