Three players score 18 for Niangua in district quarterfinal win over Exeter

No. 2 Niangua used a balanced attack with three players scoring 18 points to advance past No. 7 Everton in the Class 1 District 4 quarterfinals.

Niangua jumped out to a 20-6 lead after one quarter and a 41-13 lead at the half on the way to the victory.

Clayton Henderson, Brayden Johnston and Ethan Scheetz all scored 18 points each for Niangua in the win.

Nathan Tackett scored a game-high 19 points to lead Exeter.

Niangua (18-8) advances to face the winner of Couch and Hurley in the Class 1 District 4 semifinals on Wednesday in Chadwick. Exeter finishes the season with a 4-21 record.
