Dadeville’s depth was on display in a 70-46 district semifinal win over Walnut Grove on Wednesday at Wheatland.
The Bearcats eight different players score in the victory over their Polk County League rivals led by 18 each from Luke Bushey and Aidan Jarman.
Dadeville started fast with a 21-6 advantage after one quarter and 43-18 lead at the half. Walnut Grove outscored Dadeville by two points in the second half, but it was far from enough after the Bearcats’ blistering first half.
Up next for Dadeville is another PCL rival in host Wheatland. The Bearcats will face the Mules for the Class 1 District 5 championship at 6 pm on Friday.
