Norwood continued its turnaround season with a 47-24 win over Hartville in the Class 2 District 10 title game.
The Pirates were stout defensively in the first half building up a 21-5 lead after two quarters. Hartville got three points back in the third quarter with a 13-10 advantage, but Norwood put the game away with a 16-6 fourth quarter advantage.
The win gives Norwood 21 on the season after winning just three games the last two season’s combined.
Katlyn Drake led all scorers with 16 points for Norwood. Loran Moody and Autumn Gunter each had 11 points in the win.

Jayla Ferguson led Hartville with 11 points.
Norwood (21-6) will face Iberia (14-13) in the Class 2 state sectional round. The game is scheduled to tip off at 6 pm on Tuesday in Lebanon.
