The El Dorado Springs girls looked every bit of the defending Class 3 state champions in a 69-31 win over University Academy Charter on Tuesday night in Harrisonville.
The Lady Bulldogs were dominant on both ends of the floor building a 48-16 lead at half. El Dorado Springs did not allow University Academy Charter to score in double figures in any quarter of the game.
Macie Mays led El Dorado Springs and all scorers with 23 points while Neely Schaaf was just behind her with 22 points. Seven total players scored for El Dorado Springs.
El Dorado Springs (24-5) advances to face South Harrison (23-5) at 3:30 pm on Saturday at Missouri Western in St. Joseph in the state quarterfinal round.
