SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury’s perfect regular season in the Great Lakes Valley Conference resulted in numerous awards for the Lady Panthers on Wednesday. In a vote of league coaches, Drury head coach Amy Eagan was named the GLVC Coach of the Year, guard Terrion Moore was selected as the GLVC Defensive Player of the Year, and forward Reese Schaaf was picked as the GLVC Freshman of the Year. In addition, guard Kaylee DaMitz-Holt, forward Alana Findley, and Moore were named First Team All-GLVC, while Schaaf was a Third Team and All-Freshmen Team selection.

Eagan led the Panthers to a 27-1 record in the regular season and a perfect conference mark of 20-0 as well as a consensus number two ranking nationally. She joins Molly Miller, who won the award twice, Steve Huber and current Drury Athletic Director Nyla Milleson, who won the award twice in the Heartland Conference, as Lady Panther coaches to have earned a conference Coach of the Year award.

In her three years at Drury, Eagan has accrued an 83-8 record as well as a 54-4 record in the GLVC, two conference titles, and a National Championship Game appearance. Eagan has now had 13 Lady Panthers selected to All-GLVC teams. It is her second career Coach of the Year award, as she was the Midwest Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year in 2007 as head coach at St. Ambrose (Iowa).

Senior Terrion Moore became the fourth Lady Panther to earn the GLVC Defensive Player of the Year. Former Drury guard Daejah Bernard won the award three times. The Kansas City, Kansas native is second in the league overall in steals per game (2.1), is tied for fourth in blocks (21) in 28 games, and is fifth in steals per game (1.8).

Moore was also named First Team All-GLVC, marking the second all-conference selection of her Drury career. She averages 13 points, 3.4 assists and is fourth-best in the GLVC in assist-to-turnover ration (+1.70). Moore posted only the third triple-double in program history during a game this season.

Freshman Reese Schaaf became the eighth Lady Panther all-time to win a conference Freshman of the Year award and the fifth to win it in the GLVC. She is the most recent winner since Paige Robinson in 2019. Past winners also include Hailey Diestelkamp, Kalea Parks, Bethanie Funderburk, Molly Carter, Allison Regeir, and Kara Rutledge. The El Dorado Springs native led GLVC freshman in field-goal percentage (.497) and three-point percentage (.400). She is also the only freshman named to the all-conference team and the only unanimous choice on All-Freshman Team.

Schaaf was a Third Team selection to the All-GLVC squad. She is averaging 8.1 points and has had two double-doubles so far this season.

Kaylee DaMitz-Holt was named a First Team All-GLVC selection. The graduate student from Preston, Missouri, and Skyline HS earned her fifth all-conference award as she was named to the all-league team in the MIAA for three years at Pittsburg State, and now twice with the Lady Panthers. DaMitz-Holt ranks fourth in the GLVC in scoring, averaging 16.6 points; she is fourth in assists (3.8), and tied for third in steals (1.8). She has been named the GLVC Player of the Week three times this season.

Alana Findley was named a First Team All-GLVC select for the second straight year. The senior from Fair Grove leads the GLVC in steals averaging 2.7 per game. Findley is also eighth in field goal percentage (.508). Findley topped 1,000 career points earlier this year and is one of only four players in program history to have more than 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 150 steals in a career.

The Lady Panthers start the GLVC Tournament on Thursday when they take on Quincy at Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Missouri, on the campus of Lindenwood University. Tipoff is at 6:00 pm. If Drury wins, they will play the winner of fourth-seeded Indianapolis and fifth-seeded Missouri S&T in the GLVC Semifinals on Saturday at 6 pm. The championship game is Sunday at 3:30 pm.
