Logan-Rogersville uses dominant second half to advance to district title game

Logan-Rogersville used a dominant second half to pull away from Mountain Grove for a 73-51 win in the Class 4 District 11 semifinals.

The Wildcats led 19-11 after one quarter before Mountain Grove chipped away to cut the lead to five at 37-32 at the half. The second half was all Rogersville with the Wildcats outscoring Mountain Grove 36-19 in the half on the way to the 73-51 lead.

Thessen Prenger led Rogersville with 17 points and five made 3-pointers. Curry Sutherland was just behind him with 16 points. Ross Lawrence and Brody McNiel each scored 12 to give Rogersville four players in double figures.

Mountain Grove was led by Bradley Henry’s game-high 24 points.

Logan-Rogersville advances to face Hollister in the Class 4 District 11 title game at 6 pm on Friday in Hollister.
