West Plains used a big first half to pull away on the way to a 64-44 win over Branson in the Class 5 District 6 semifinals.
The Lady Zizzers jumped out to a 17-4 lead after one quarter and a 35-15 at the half. Branson played West Plains even in the second half, but the early lead proved insurmountable.
Kaylea Dixon led all scorers with 26 points for West plains. Allyssa Joyner had 18 points for West Plains. Zoey Williams gave the Lady Zizzers three players in double figures with 10 points.

Maci Rogers led Branson with 15 points.
West Plains advances to face Rolla in the Class 5 District 6 title game at 6 pm on Tuesday in Marshfield.
