Rolla used a big fourth quarter to pull away from host Marshfield for a 69-56 win in the Class 5 District 5 semifinals.
Rolla trailed by one at 13-12 after one quarter. Marshfield’s lead grew to four, 30-26, at the half. The Blue Jays expanded the lead even more to 52-43 with eight minutes to play.
Rolla was dominant in the fourth quarter outscoring Marshfield 26-4 in the final eight minutes to turn an eight-point deficit into a 13-point win. Free throw shooting was key for Rolla in the fourth quarter with the Bulldogs going 14-for-15 from the line in the final frame.

The Bulldogs were balanced offensively with Jessica Pritchett and Resa Martin each scoring 15 points. Faith Coates and Willow Gideon were just behind that duo with 14 points each.
Lauren Luebbert led all scorers with 21 points for Marshfield. Abby McBride added in 15.
Rolla will face top-seeded West Plains for the Class 5 District 6 championship at 6 pm on Tuesday in Marshfield.
