Former Springfield Central star Makaiya Brooks is returning to Springfield. She announced on Twitter that she has committed to Drury.

Brooks played her first two seasons at Memphis. She averaged 4.4 minutes per game as a sophomore a Memphis scoring 2.1 points per game. In high school, Brooks set the SPS all-time career scoring mark averaging 22.4 points per game in her career. She scored 2,358 total points in her high school career.
