Former Kickapoo basketball star, Anton Brookshire, will transfer to Austin Peay.

Brookshire announced the move on social media Tuesday.

The former Kickapoo Chief will rejoin his high school teammate, Isaac Haney at Austin Peay.

Brookshire helped Kickapoo reach two final fours including a state championship win his senior season.

He then played one season at Mizzou before transferring to Iona for his sophomore season.

Brookshire averaged 4.2 points per game in 32 games with Iona. He helped the Gaels reach the NCAA Tournament.

Former Missouri State assistant coach Corey Gipson coaches Austin Peay.

KY3 Sports Director Mark Spillane has asked Brookshire if he expects to sit out a year for transferring a second time but has not yet heard back.
