Fair Grove has hired Gary Greene to be the school’s next girls basketball head coach.
Greene joins Fair Grove after spending 22 years coaching at Mansfield and Licking.
Greene has posted a career record of 387-227, including seven district titles and four state quarterfinals appearances.
Fair Grove announced the news on social media Wednesday.
Greene takes over a team that just won the Class 3 State Championship and returns all but one of its players from that state title roster.
He replaces Jenny Talbert just a few weeks after Talbert left Fair Grove to take the girls basketball head coach position at Nixa.
