Plato volleyball has a new head coach in Maggie Cline this season. She takes over a program coming off a four-win season.
Seniors Brenna Couch and Kaylee Copley along with sophomore Raven Craddock return this season. Couch is a setter and front row hitter. Copley is an outside hitter. Craddock is a setter and front row hitter.
Cline on Couch: “Brenna brings leadership to this team with her attitude, work ethic, and good ball control.”
Cline on Copley: “Kaylee brings heart to this team by working hard and lifting up her teammates.”
Cline on Craddock: “Raven brings focus to this team with her ambition to better the ball every time she has it.”

Freshmen Sara Cannon, Presley Sigmon and Leah Collison will be newcomers to the varsity roster.
“The biggest strength for our team for this year is how young we are and how we are able to be good teammates to one another,” Cline said. “This group this season has very good chemistry with one another.”
Plato opens the season on Aug. 28 at Mansfield.
“The overall expectation for this team this season is to be one,” Cline said. “One team, one family, one unit. Every time my players step foot on the court I expect them to work 110% to improve their skills each and every day there.”
