Roby and Saggese were teammates with the Frisco Roughriders and both came to the Cardinals organization in the Jordan Montgomery trade.
Saggese has already played 18 games for the Spring Birds but Roby has yet to make an appearance as he rehabbed an injury.
Roby is set for his Springfield debut on Saturday as he reunites with Saggese as teammates.
