MSU’s Drew Millas called up to Washington Nationals

Former Missouri State baseball standout, Drew Millas, has been called up to Major League Baseball.

The Washington Nationals promoted Millas Monday from their Triple-A affiliate in Rochester, New York.

According to the MLB Pipeline rankings, Millas is ranked as the Nationals’ 23rd-best prospect.

The 25-year-old catcher batted .291 with 25 extra-base hits across 83 games in the Minor Leagues this year.

He batted .277 with 231 hits, including 16 home runs during three seasons at Missouri State.

Millas was drafted in the 7th round of the 2019 MLB Draft.
