Salem enters its second season with Cody Woody as head coach coming off a 17-11 record a season ago.
The Lady Tigers will have to replace three graduated all-conference and all-district players from that team.
Emily Strange is the team’s key returning player. The six-foot senior averaged 5.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per game last season along with 1.6 assists and 1.9 steals.
Sophomores Addison Fulton and Taylor Fulton will be two newcomers to watch.
“Addison will be a big help on the boards for us this year. She will have to step up as a leader,” Woody said. “Taylor works hard and will compete every game.”

Freshmen Trista Dooley, Abbi Terrill, Raven Gillam and Allison Walters will look to make an immediate varsity impact.
“We will be very young this year,” Woody said. “A lot of what we do will be learning on the fly. We are looking to improve every day we go out.”
