“All of these girls listed are new to basketball or freshman,” Williams said. “We are hoping they can all make a big impact for us. They are picking up aspects of the game very quickly and are already making huge impacts in practice.”

East Newton opens the regular season on Nov. 21 at Aurora.

“We are hoping to achieve our full potential as students on and off the court,” Williams said. “We will be successful this season if we get better as not only basketball players, but as people too.”
