Well on Carrasquillo: “She runs our offense really well and she is looking to improve her all-around game. She is our leader on our team.”
Well on Cornelison: “She is looking to improve on her scoring and defense this year. Also, being a better all-around player to help the team.”

“She (Long) will help give us depth to our team and also give us a little bit of outside shooting help,” Well said.
Well will look for his team to use defense to create offense.
“If we stay healthy our biggest strength will be our defense throughout the year. Hoping defense turns into offense,” Well said. “We need to improve on our scoring. We need to convert easy looks more often this year and cause more turnovers and convert those turnovers as well.”
Verona opens the season Nov. 18-22 at its home tournament.
