El Dorado Springs looked every bit the part of a No. 1 seed in a 63-26 win over Greenfield to advance to the quarterfinals of the Walnut Grove Holiday Tournament.
The Bulldogs jumped out to a 22-5 lead after on quarter and a 30-8 lead at the half. El Dorado Springs put the game away with a 26-point third quarter to cruise to the win.
Seven different players scored for El Dorado Springs led by Joseph Gordon’s game-high 20 points. Russell Ferguson (14 points) and Rees McCullough (11 points) also scored in double figures.

Andrew Mays led eight different Greenfield players who scored with seven points.
El Dorado Springs advances to face No. 9 seed, and host, Walnut Grove at 6 pm on Saturday at Walnut Grove in the quarterfinal round. Greenfield will take on No. 8 seed Pierce City at 3 pm on Saturday at Marion C. Early High School in Morrisville in the consolation quarterfinals.
