The higher seeds were dominant in the quarterfinal round of the Class 1 District 6 boys basketball tournament with all three higher seeds winning by double digits.
Humansville opened up the tournament by beating Fair Play 47-29. Kade White had 24 points to lead Humansville.
In the second game, Dadeville had 11 different players score in a 74-27 win over Golden City. Aidan Jarman led Dadeville and all scorers with 18 points.
Halfway closed out the opening night of the Class 1 District 6 tournament with a 70-32 win over Greenfield. Zachary Laney (18 points), Brayden Doke (14 points), Isaac Ingram (12 points) and Shane Gallivan (10 points) all scored in double figures for Halfway.
Humansville will play top-seeded Lockwood at 5:30 on Thursday in the semifinal round. Dadeville and Halfway will play in the second semifinal at 7:00 pm.
