Walnut Grove is back in the Class 1 State tournament after a one-year hiatus.
The Lady Tigers, who had a streak of 12 consecutive district titles snapped last season, beat Lockwood 55-29 to claim the Class 1 District 4 championship in Greenfield.
Walnut Grove started fast and never looked back with an 18-6 advantage after one quarter.
Jacie Gavisk led all scorers with 18 points. Rachael Kruger was also in double figures for Walnut Grove with 14 points.
The Lady Tigers will host Thomas Jefferson in the sectional round on Monday.
