Fair Grove started fast and didn’t look back on the way to a 56-29 state sectional win over Mid-Lakes Conference rival Clever.
The Lady Eagles jumped out to a 21-8 lead after one quarter on the way to a 31-17 lead at half. Fair Grove’s defense didn’t allow Clever to score double-digit points in any quarter.
Camdyn Hart led Fair Grove and all scorers with 16 points. She knocked down all four of Fair Grove’s 3-pointers in the game. Brooke Daniels and Abbey Green each scored 10 points in the win. Kenzie Camp led Clever with 12 points.

Fair Grove (22-7) will host Fatima (22-6) in the state quarterfinal round on Friday. Fair Grove, the defending Class 3 state champion, was ranked No. 2 in the final state rankings while Fatima was ranked No. 6.
