SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– The Drury Lady Panthers moved up one spot in the NCAA-II coaches poll of the regular season. Drury won both of their games last week to move their record to 23-5 and 18-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

Ashland (27-1) remained the number one ranked in the poll. Grand Valley State (26-2) is second, and Thomas Jefferson (27-1) is third.

Drury is the only GLVC team in the top 25 but is one of four teams in the Midwest Region that are ranked. In addition to Ashland and Grand Valley State, Ferris State is ranked 10th in NCAA-II.

The Lady Panthers open the GLVC Tournament on Friday at 2:15 pm against Rockhurst in the quarterfinal round at Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Missouri. Drury is seeded third in the bracket, with the Hawks sixth. The winner of that quarterfinal game will advance to the GLVC semifinals to face the winner of McKendree and Upper Iowa on Saturday at 2:15 pm. The GLVC Championship game is scheduled for Friday at 1 pm.
