Flood has coached the Lady Tigers since the late 1990s, piling up more than 500 wins.
He led Republic to Class 4 state championship wins in 2004 and 2012.
Flood also guided the Lady Tigers to a Class 5 fourth-place finish in 2019.
Republic came up just two points short on Monday night of winning back-to-back Class 6 District 5 championships.
