Billings softball returns three starters this in coach Jami Bauer’s first season as head coach of the program.
The three veteran starters are Kyla Essick, Carly Baker and Lancey-Joe Bellamy.
Baker, Essick and freshman Isabelle Laster will be in the circle pitching.
The rest of the lineup is up for competition.
“We have young players willing to learn the game of softball. I am looking forward to working with the girls,” Bauer said. “This will be my first season working with Billings Softball. We will tackle any challenges that come our way together.”
Billings opens the season on Mar. 18 at home against Miller.
“Overall expectations will be to work hard and have fun,” Bauer said. “I expect the girls to learn to compete and enjoy the game.”
