Daniel Abreu, a 2020 graduate of Willard, announced he has committed to play for Drake via Twitter.

Abreu, who averaged 25.6 points per game as a senior at Willard, played the past four seasons at Division II power Northwest Missouri State. He will follow his former head coach Ben McCollum to Des Moines. In the past four seasons, Abreu saw action in 128 games scoring 875 total points. This past season was his best averaging 10.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.
