Former West Plains football star Connor Lair will play for Missouri State during the 2024 season. Lair confirmed the news to KY3 Sports on Friday evening.
He played 10 games for the Bears in 2022 and was set for a bigger role in 2023 when he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma after just two games.
The former Zizzer then entered the transfer portal in April before ultimately committing to play for Harding University.

After recent roster shuffling, Lair has decided to return to Missouri State, where he will continue to play running back. Lair is nearing clearance after recovering from his Hodgkin’s Lymphoma diagnosis.
