Link Academy’s depth and dominance was on full display in a 78-62 win over Millennium (AZ) in the opening round of the 2025 Bass Pro Tournament of Champions.
The Lions led for 26:54 of the available 32 minutes in the game. They had seven blocks, six steals and assisted on 19 of 31 field goals.
Link trailed by as many as five early in the first quarter, but quickly turned that around closing the first quarter on a 14-4 run and the first half on a 27-13 run. Link continued to extend its lead through the second half winning the third quarter by a 26-23 margin and the fourth quarter by a 22-18 advantage.

On the scoresheet, five different players scored in double figures.
Davion Hannah (offers from Alabama and Cincinnati) led Link Academy with 16 points. Chris Cenac Jr. (offers from LSU, Arkansas, Baylor, Houston, Kentucky and UConn) along with Amare Bynum (committed to Ohio State) each had 14 points. Legen Smiley (USF, Washington State, Georgetown, UNLV) was just behind that group with 13 points. Jerry Easter (Oregon, Ohio State, Vanderbilt, SMU) rounded out the double-figure scorers for Link with 12 points. Easter also had a team-high seven assists.
As a team, Link Academy shot 63% from the field in the game and 40% from three.
Millennium was led by a game-high 25 points from Kingston Tosi (Utah State commit). Cameron Holmes (UNC, Michigan, LSU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, BYU, TCU, USC, Stanford, Washington and Tennessee offers) had 16 points in the loss.
Millennium will face Springfield Central in the first consolation semifinal on Friday at 4:30 pm. Link Academy will play the Bullis School (MD) in the first semifinal at 7:30 pm on Friday.
