There were no upsets in the quarterfinal round of the Class 1 District 4 girls basketball tournament.
No. 4 Greenfield, the host of the tournament, dispatched Sheldon 53-28 to open the tournament. Addington Roberts scored 17 points for the Wildcats followed by Gracie Chandler with 15 points. They advance to face top seed Liberal at 6 pm on Thursday in the semifinal round.
Lockwood got 19 points from Asa Lasater and 17 points from Peyton Lasater in a 52-20 win over Bronaugh. The No. 2 seed Tigers scored 22 points in the first quarter, which proved to be enough to win the game.
They will face Dadeville at 7:30 pm on Thursday in the semifinals. Dadeville trailed Everton 10-6 after one quarter. The Bearcats turned it on in the second quarter with an 18-6 advantage to take a 24-16 lead into the break on the way to a 43-37 win.
Charleigh Toler led Dadeville with 13 points. Olivia Sartin led all scorers with 23 points for Everton.
