No. 3 seed Blue Eye turned in a masterful defensive performance against Purdy beating the Eagles 66-13 to advance in the Class 2 District 11 tournament. The Bulldogs didn’t allow more than five points in any single quarter on the way to the victory. Kaylee Wilson scored 21 points to lead Blue Eye.
The host Bulldogs advance to face Crane in the semifinal round at 7:15 pm on Thursday.
Galena got 30 points from Mel Rice on the way to a 70-38 victory over Wheaton and will now face No. 1 seed Marionville on Thursday at 6 pm.
