Chadwick & Billings advance to Class 1 District 4 championship game

Defending Class 1 state champion Chadwick began its 2025 postseason with a 57-25 win over Hurley on Wednesday in Billings. The Cardinals left no doubt outscoring Hurley 26-6 in the first quarter.

Prestin Kinyon scored 23 points to lead Chadwick. Clayton Garrison scored 14 and Tristan Smith 12.

Hurley was led by Andrew Escobar.

Host, and No. 2 seed Billings, will be Chadwick’s opponent in the final. The Wildcats dispatched School of the Ozarks 59-39 in their semifinal matchup. Kaiden Blakemore scored 15 points to lead all scorers. Chance Shaffer (11 points) and Brock Harter (10 points) also scored in double figures for Billings. Josiah Martin (11 points) and Scott Carswell (10 points) both scored in double figures for School of the Ozarks.

Chadwick and Billings will face off in the Class 1 District 4 championship game at 6 pm on Friday.
