Lincoln’s bounce-back season continued with a Class 2 District 13 championship game win over Rich Hill on Friday.
The Cardinals beat Rich Hill 56-43 to claim the program’s third district title in five years. Lincoln now has 21 wins on the season, a 14-win improvement over a seven-win campaign last season.
Lincoln led Rich Hill 12-7 after one quarter and 30-18 at the half. Bradyn Benham led all scorers with 15 points for Lincoln. Dawson Parrott was just behind him with 12 points. Dillon Coonce led Rich Hill with 14 points.
Lincoln hosts St. Paul Lutheran (Concordia) in a Class 2 sectional round on Monday.
