New Heights Christian won its fourth district title in five years with a 63-52 win over Diamond in the Class 3 District 12 championship game in Diamond on Friday.
The Cougars took a 20-14 lead on the host Wildcats after one quarter and a 33-24 lead at half. Diamond cut into the Cougar lead with an 18-14 advantage in the third quarter. New Heights responded with a 16-10 fourth quarter to win the game.
Logan Decker scored 22 points to lead New Heights. Adam Stanton (14 points) and Jadan Smith (11 points) were also in double figures.

Adam Brown (18 points) and Kaden Patterson (15 points) led Diamond.
New Heights Christian will face Lamar in the Class 3 sectional round at 6:30 pm on Monday in Lamar.
