The Nixa boys were dominant in closing out their 2024-25 season with a 56-33 win over Lafayette (Wildwood) in the Class 6 third place game.
Nixa never trailed in the game and built a lead as big as 26 late in the third quarter.
Adam McKnight posted a double-double for Nixa with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Jaise Combs also scored in double figures with 11 points.
In all, 10 different Eagles scored in the game.
Thursday’s win marks the fourth third-place finish in program history.
Nixa finishes the season with a 28-3 record.
