The 10th Annual All-O-Zone Boys Basketball team as voted on by the KY3 & OzarksSportsZone.com staff is below. There are more than 100 boys basketball teams in the area, which makes this list extremely difficult to narrow down. We used many factors including opposing coach observations, stats, staff observations and more to reach the list you see here.
Below is this year’s team with a first-team, second-team, and honorable mention. Each team is in alphabetical order after the Boys Player of the Year Chase Branham.
FIRST FIVE
Chase Branham, Logan-Rogersville (Player of the Year)
Branham is only a sophomore, but he is on track to be a player area fans talk about for a very long time. His play on the court this year more than backed it up. Branham averaged 20 points, four assists and three deflections per game. He shot 38% from three on his way to all-state honors to go with conference and district player of the year awards. In the biggest games of the year, Branham remained steady averaging 19.2 points per game in Logan-Rogersville’s run to a third-place finish in Class 4. That included a 30-point explosion on the road against Father Tolton Catholic in the state quarterfinal round. He recently added offers from the University of Indiana and Kansas State University.

He averaged 17.8 points, 5.1 rebounds. 4.7 assists and 1.7 steals per game while shooting 37.1% from three. He finished his career as the all-time leading scorer in Central history breaking Gary “Peanut” Adams’ record that had stood since 1988. Clayton Garrison, Chadwick
No individual player did more for their team than Clayton Garrison this season. And no player stepped up more in the big moments than the Chadwick senior. In the state quarterfinal game against Risco, Garrison only had seven points in the first half and the game was tied at the break. In the final 10 minutes of the game, Garrison went for 16 points to push Chadwick to the final four. In two final four games, Garrison was 19-for-22 (86%) from the field with 48 points, 29 rebounds, 11 blocks and 9 assists leading Chadwick to its second state championship. His stat line for the year is staggering averaging a double-double and 8.1 blocks/steals per game while shooting better than 60% from the field and almost 40% from three. He goes down as the greatest player in Chadwick history finishing his career with more than 2,200 points and almost 1,000 rebounds, 400 assists, 500 steals and more than 225 blocks.
