No. 2 seed Parkview beat No. 7 West Plains 58-45 to advance to the Class 5 District 6 semifinals on Friday at 6:30 pm.
The Vikings led 12-8 after one quarter and 27-20 at the half. West Plains cut the lead by three to 36-32 after three quarters, but the Vikings had a response. Parkview outscored West Plains 22-13 to secure the win.
Kevin Parker was key in the fourth quarter for Parkview with 12 of his game-high 19 points coming in the final frame. He went four-for-four from the free throw line in the fourth quarter. As a team, Parkview shot 8-for-10 from the free throw line in the deciding quarter.

Dassiah Green scored 14 points and TJ Hill added in 10 to give the Vikings three players in double figures.
Briggs Hughston led West Plains with 14 points. Aiden Simpson was just behind him with 13 points.
Parkview advances to face the winner of Glendale and host Willard in the Class 5 District 6 semifinals on Friday at 7:30 pm.
