SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Drury assistant coach and former Lady Panther guard Addy (Roller) Miller was named the next women’s basketball head coach at Cedarville University in Ohio on Wednesday.

Miller had been a Lady Panthers assistant coach for three seasons and helped Drury to an 87-9 record, a 54-4 mark in conference games, three Great Lakes Valley Conference titles, three NCAA-II Tournament appearances, and a National Runner-Up finish in 2021. Drury was also ranked in the top 10 nationally throughout each of the three seasons. She was named to the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association 30-Under-30 national list in 2021 and 2022.

“So happy for Addy and this new opportunity for her to advance her career,” said Drury head coach Amy Eagan. “She is one of the brightest and best coaches out there. I cannot wait to see all the amazing things she accomplishes and does in the lives of young women. THANK YOU, Addy, for everything you have done for Drury University, our Lady Panthers program, and for me. I’m forever grateful, and you will always be a part of our Lady Panthers family – we love you!”

Miller played two seasons for the Lady Panthers after starting her college career at Wayne State (Neb.). With Drury, she averaged 9.1 points and 3.6 assists on teams that went a combined 52-9. After graduating from Drury in 2016, Miller joined the coaching staff at Pittsburg State for four seasons, serving as a graduate assistant for two years, then was a full-time assistant coach for two seasons.

The Purdy, Missouri, native was the Class 2 Player of the Year and led Purdy to a state championship in 2011.

Cedarville is a member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference and is in the Midwest Region. The Yellowjackets went 7-19 this year, suffering their first losing season in 22 years. The program reached the NCAA-II Tournament in 2021 and won at least 20 games in 16 of the last 22 years.
