Missouri State football’s Connor Lair has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
The former West Plains Zizzers standout announced the news on his Instagram story Tuesday morning.
Missouri State football has since shared a link to purchase shirts that read ‘Tackle Cancer’ across the front with a picture of Lair.
You can find those shirts here.
The proceeds from the shirt sales will go toward helping Lair with his treatments.
The Bears’ sophomore switched from linebacker to running back this year, drawing praise on several occasions from Head Coach Ryan Beard and Offensive Coordinator Nick Petrino.
Lair starred at both positions for West Plains in high school.
