Springfield Public Schools Athletic Director Josh Scott has confirmed to KY3 Sports and OzarksSportsZone.com that the Central Ozark Conference has extended an invitation to Kickapoo and Glendale to join the conference.
A timeline for a decision on whether to accept the invitation or not was not given.
Earlier this week, Scott confirmed that Parkview and Hillcrest had petitioned for membership in the newly formed Ozark Mountain Conference. A timeline for that decision was also not available.
In addition, both Willard and Neosho will remain in the COC according to spokespersons for both districts.
