Three more Missouri State basketball Bears have entered the transfer portal in the wake of Dana Ford’s firing.
MSU standout guard Alston Mason is among those who made the announcement Wednesday.
First and foremost I would like to thank God and Missouri State for the opportunity to play here. I appreciate the community and the fans embracing my talents. Moving forward the next step for me will be entering the transfer portal, thank you 🖤 pic.twitter.com/o2fkgRJldJ

Mason led the team in scoring with 17.5 points per game and ranked second on the team in assists.
His fellow Bears Damien Mayo and Cesare Edwards will also enter the transfer portal.
Mayo was typically a starter for the Bears when healthy, proving to be one of the team’s best defenders.
Edwards only made seven starts but was routinely one of the first players off the bench, playing in all 33 games for the Bears.
At this point, the top seven MSU players in minutes played have either entered the portal or will graduate this Spring.
