School of the Ozarks graduated a strong five-player senior class from last season’s 18-win team.

The Patriots will look to a group of four returning players for leadership in Rae Blackwell (senior), Kaylee Martin (junior), Eleanor Osborne (junior) and Cora Presson (junior).

Head Coach Jay Presson on Blackwell: “We will count on her ball handling skills and helping us push the ball down the court.”

Coach Presson on Martin: “She will be a key in our defense, with her quickness and hustle.”

Coach Presson on Osborne: “She is a very capable shooter and will be looked to for scoring outside the lane.”

Coach Presson on Cora Presson: “She missed most of last season with a major knee injury.  Look forward for her return, helping inside the lane, and rebounding.”

Sophomore Claire Knight and junior Eva Kocev will be newcomers.

Coach Presson on Knight: “She will be a great defensive asset with her quickness and competitiveness.”

Coach Presson on Kocev: “Second year player and will help rebounding and defense in the lane.”

School of the Ozarks opens the regular season on Nov. 22 at home against Humansville.
