Crocker boys basketball returns six players with varsity experience from last season’s 20-win Frisco League champion team.
The senior trio of Adam Newton, Jackson Burney and Jessie Goldsmith are all returning starters.
Newton averaged 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists per game. He is a three-time all-conference and all-district honoree. Burney contributed 8 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists on his way to all-conference and all-district honors. Goldsmith tied for the team lead in charges taken.
Also returning are seniors Jaymz Helmick and Landon Pierce along with Avery Newton. Helmick averaged 6.5 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist. He tied with Goldsmith for the lead in charges taken. Pierce and Avery Newton each averaged 4 points per game.
Crocker opens the season on Nov. 23 at Faith Christian Academy.
