– JD Lee completed 13-of-17 passes for 169 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for two scores. Junior Casey Weathermon led the Dawgs in receiving with five catches for 95 yards, including a 32-yard reception on the first play of the game. Mount Vernon senior quarterback Ty Boswell completed 18-of-28 passes for 191 yards. He rushed for 63 yards on 11 carries, including a 31-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter. Senior Andrew Montemayor had nine catches for 112 yards.

– Rolla QB Josh Pritchett seemed to do everything right – completing 22 of 30 passes for 362 yards and three touchdowns, while adding 110 yards and another touchdown on the ground. Despite a strong start, Huston slowed down to an extent the rest of the way, but still managed to go 44-for-65 passing with five TDs, while throwing a pair of interceptions. In the end, Huston’s outing was still good for an impressive 495 yards and gets him within 60 yards of moving to fourth place all time on the list of most career passing yards.

He also had an INT on defense. Brayton Ipock had one carry for 20 yards and a touchdown. He also had seven rushing two-point conversions and recovered a fumble for a TD on defense.

–Â Paydon Dixon rushed for 303 yards in Houston’s SCA win over Willow Springs.

–Â Salem was led by Sam Ball and Cameron Camden in its win over Mountain Grove. Ball carried the ball 15 times for 71 yards and two touchdowns. Camden went five-for-eight through the air for 131 yards and a touchdown. He averaged 26.2 yards per completion.
