College Heights Christian boys basketball has posted three consecutive 16-win seasons. The Cougars have all of the pieces to meet or exceed that total once again this season even with the graduation of the strong senior class.
Junior Miller Long returns after earning second-team all-conference honors last year as a sophomore. The 6’3 junior poured in 16.5 points per game and grabbed 5.1 rebounds per game. He knocked down 86 3-pointers.
Sophomore Curtis Davenport will also be a leader. Davenport, who stands at 6’5, averaged 10.9 points and 7 rebounds per game as a freshman.
Senior Evan Burton along with juniors Hagen Beck and Ethan Adel also return. Beck averaged 4.6 points and 3 rebounds per game last year.

Junior Ethan Meeks will look to make an impact on varsity this year.
“(We are) replacing four senior guards from last year, so filling those two positions are a key for us. (We have) three starters back and two players with some varsity experience hopefully will give us a good base, but we will need some reserves to step up,” head coach Eric Johnson said.
College Heights opens the season on Nov. 24 at home against Rich Hill.
