Ava, Mo.- Ava head football coach Dan Swofford has been hired as an assistant coach at Evangel, multiple sources have confirmed to Ozarkssportzone.com. In his twelve years at the helm, Swofford’s Bears won four district titles including a trip to the Class 2 State Championship game in 2019. Swofford’s son Nate is a defensive back on the Evangel football team.
